TEEN JOB FAIR BIG SUCCESS, Delgaudio posts Lists

Over 1,000 teens attended my 7th job fair this year but there
are still more teens seeking jobs. This year I have posted a
fantastic list of the 71 companies here at this link for your

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS APPROVES PURCHASE

I was holding my breath for this.

Sterling needs a renovated Safety Center for fire and rescue. As part
of the renewal the county board of supervisors approved the purchase of
an existing business next to the fire station so that larger ladder trucks
and other emergency vehicles can exit or return faster.

This negotiation took a year and now the county can move ahead with more detailed plans
which the public will see in their final proposal before any more work is done.

DELGAUDIO PROPOSED CUTS

I am reminded constantly of excessive spending for "wanted" projects as opposed
to "needed" projects. Some Supervisors do take it personally when I oppose or vote no
to things like public horse parks and remind the board that we --the county-- once considered
public dog parks.

One such boondoggle is the "public firing range" which has now
ballooned another 7 million dollars to a new total of $21 million. One first term
supervisor said "I would not have voted for this had I known it was going to be
this kind of spending."

This is a discussion and list of $600 million cuts in government spending that I propose
and release to the public at this link
