Update: No Cars Parked On Lawns Petition
Sterling is has a few cars left on front lawns, back lawns and some homeowners are attempting to make their residential homes into parking lots.
I am starting a "No Cars Parked on Lawns" petition and ask you to sign it at Sterlingfest at my table
It asks the board of supervisors and planning commission to consider your signed support.
THE RETURN OF THE LOUDOUN COUNTY MEALS TAX
The board of supervisors voted to ask Richmond for the power to levy a MEALS TAX on Loudoun citizens by a majority vote of the board of supervisors. I reminded Supervisors that Sterling and every precinct voted "no" in 1998 and 2002 and last year.
Only 3 Supervisors including me, your Sterling represenative, voted NO. The Request to allow the Board to impose a meals tax now goes to Richmond where the legislature will consider it.
