FIFTY FIVE MILLION DOLLAR BOND HELPS STERLING BIG TIME

Sterling Fire/Rescue Center, Community Center and Library part of the $55, 167,000 for November ballot
The Board, at today's July 2nd meeting is planning to place a November bond ballot to include construction and acquire fire and rescue apparatus; acquire land for Sterling Park Rescue Squad's replacement station and to design, construct and equip that replacement station; relocate, renovate, expand and equip Sterling Library; and renovate and equip the Sterling Community Center (collectively, the "General Government Projects"), and the total cost of such a General Government Projects is $55,167,000 in the total budget that includes these Sterling projects:
Sterling VRS Replacement Station $14,430,000 (14,430,000),
Sterling Community Center Renovation $15,502,000 ($6,085,000 on ballot) ,
Sterling Library $ 4,850,000 ($ 4,850,000 on ballot)
