Assembly Delegation Plans Community Meeting in Leesburg Sat. Jan. 4
Sterling residents usually have their local Delegates having local meetings. Delegate Tom Rust just had a community meeting days ago in Sterling.
There are 7 members of the House of Delegates representing Loudoun, and three Senators represent parts of Loudoun.
Members of Loudoun County's General Assembly delegation will hold a pre-session town hall meeting next week to hear constituents' concerns.
The session will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 at the Rust Library in Leesburg. No reservations are required, but residents wishing to speak are encouraged to sign-up in advance by emailing Carol Sinclair at [email protected] or calling 703-437-9400. Comments will be limited to three minutes per person.
The General Assembly will convene Jan 8. The 60-day session will include the review of more than 3,000 bills and the adoption of the state's biennial budget.
