Yes, you read that right. The board of supervisors of Loudoun will be sworn in down the street from your house. I will be sworn in. I would be honored if you were there and it is free admission. You can be my special guest-- no charge.

On Friday, the 9th of December 2011 at 7 p.m. the entire 9 member Board of Supervisors will assemble at the Holiday Inn, IN STERLING, just off Sterling Blvd. Supervisors will do oaths and pictures after the ceremony with constituents. Short speeches.

LIGHTS UP ALL OVER STERLING

The most lit up community on Earth is Sterling during the Holiday season as we all celebrate our respective Holidays including the Christmas traditions. Juniper Avenue is the most visited street in Sterling as usual and you can see the lights from the space station.

Natvity Up In Leesburg Saturday

There is a giant CHRISTMAS parade in Leesburg and for the 22nd year the small wooden nativity will be constructed and stand on the corner outside the courthouse once again at 10 a.m. Saturday Dec. 10.
It has been threatened with being banned each year for the last 3 years.

Paul VI High School in Fairfax City, Monday Dec. 12, front lawn, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For the 14th year, Leesburg Nazarene Church sponsors a Drive thru Nativity with Live Animals, 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday December 10 and Sunday December 11. The cars back up on Route 7.

Admission is free. The church is located off Route 7 just west of Leesbug at 17667 Roxbury Hall Road in Leesburg.
