Republican Primary Today In Most Of Sterling District; After Voting Go Help Dick Black For Senator

Today, Tuesday August 23,is primary day in Virginia.
There is race for delegate in the Sterling District for the 87
House of Delegates seat between Jo ann Chase and David Ramadan. I
am neutral and have not endorsed either candidate.
My wife Sheila and I will be voting at the Rolling
Ridge Precinct this morning joining a small percentage of
Republicans turning out for this race.
PRIMARIES AUGUST 23 For the New 87 Delegate District in
Sterling
Sterling has a local contest for Delegate to Richmond in the
new 87 District, today, August 23.
Most of the Sterling District has a contest between 2
candidates, Jo-ann Chase and David Ramadan both from South Riding
in the new 87 district including
Buchanan,
Claude Moore Park,
Mirror Ridge,
Park View (west of Sterling Blvd.)
Rolling Ridge and
Guilford precincts on August 23 for the Republican
nomination.
The 87 has 13 other Loudoun and Prince William precincts. (If
you are confused, just write me back).
Virginia Senator Candidate Dick Black (S.D.13) TODAY TO 7 P.M.
Conservatives who want a break from campaigning for "Delgaudio
for Supervisor" should go to help Dick Black run for Senator in a
primary contest for the Republican nomination TODAY (outside of
Sterling but mostly a Loudoun County Senate District) on Tuesday
August 23. The campaign phone is 703.468.1342 and they are working
to 7 p.m. tonight.

Barricade Situation on Plum Tree Court in Sterling Ends
Peacefully
A barricade situation on Plum Tree Court (which is just off of
Juniper and Church Road) ended peacefully after an adult threatened
to harm himself.
Around 12:30 p.m. on August 22, 2011 the Loudoun County
Sheriff's Office learned that an adult male had barricaded himself
in a room inside of a residence in the 100 block of Plum Tree Court
in Sterling, VA and made statements he was going to harm himself.
On scene, the agency learned that there was a family member inside
the home and there were weapons present.
Members of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Emergency
Response Team and the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Hostage
Negotiations Unit responded to the scene. A Reverse 911 was also
issued to homes in the immediate area advising residents to stay in
their homes during the barricade situation.
Mark Gunderman Is Attempting To Help Homeless Sterling
Families.
Mark Gunderman has led prayer revivals, full bible readings
lasting a week and involving hundreds. He writes weekly and is a
former Loudoun County Man of the Year. He serves on the board of
the GSA.

Ron Klabunde Is Attempting To Feed Hungry Children in
Sterling
Ron Kalbunde asked me to tell you about two opportunities to
Help Stop Child Hunger in Sterling.
The purpose of these events is to provide Dominion High School
Cluster Schools with over 40,000 meals, to disperse throughout the
year, to the several hundred students who are going hungry in the
evening and on weekends.
