2010 Leesburg Youth Job Fair Held Saturday, April 10

An umemployment report nationally says young people (21 to 25) are hardest hit by the current downturn with 20 per cent unemployed. So my solution is to sponsor 2 job fairs in Sterling for teens.

This past Saturday "the 2010 Leesburg Youth Job Fair was held from in Leesburg. Congratulations to Supervisor Kelly Burke and her staff for organizing it. Hire one of our Sterling teens-- or refer a teen-- to mow Sterling's lawns.

Six Days and Nights of Prayer

Agnostics watch out.

Loudoun Courthouse Grounds on North King Street at North Side of the Law Library

The Loudoun Awakening is a unified effort of believers in Loudoun County, working to bring national prayer and bible reading efforts to Loudoun. We seek the prayers of your church and prayer ministries as we plan a number of activities in May.

One event we are planning is the Third Annual Bible Reading Marathon, which will take place from noon Saturday, May 1 through noon Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Leesburg Courthouse grounds. This event is a public reading of the Bible from cover to cover that will last six days and nights leading up to the National Day of Prayer Observance. We are inviting all Loudoun churches, ministries, civic groups and interested individuals to send four or more people to read the Bible out loud for an hour. This is an opportunity for the body of Christ to come together to proclaim the Word of the Lord for our community.

SAVE KEN REID-- HE HELPED SAVE CHRISTMAS

Can you recall a historic battle to preserve religious freedom was fought over the recent Thanksgiving holiday against the forces of the agnostic liberal establishment intent on eliminating all religious displays?

One local Leesburg man road onto the scene, joined up with the Christian and other citizens to protest the wrongful action by government officials, and raised the Jewish menorah and beat the anti-religious forces in a holy alliance. That man is Ken Reid, a councilman from Leesburg.

If you or any Sterling American want to continue to preserve the relgious freedom to display any religious display from any religion then please call Ken 703-402 4002 and spend some time going with him door to door-- in Leesburg. His election is first Tuesday in May 2010, just days away.
