I got some orange flowers from Fran Brocke.

Two of my 4 daughters were in attendence, Crystal and Alicia, and one of my two sons, Jerome, were there. Julia had some wisdom teeth removed. We were graced with the attendence of members of the news media and the dean of the Loudoun media delegation Martin Casey.

Richard Danker of Glory Days Grill and his staff were hailed by me and applauded. All together over 100 people came and went during the 2 hours.

????? SIX MEMBERS OF THE BOARD PUT PARTISAN POLITICS ABOVE CITIZENS

It can not be any PLAINER than this. A measure was sponsored by Supervisor Stevens Miller to allow political parties to use all county facilities for free.

I spoke against it and said "why allow political parties to receive taxpayer assistance to meet in public facilities. They should pay their way just like youth leagues have to pay for use of school facilities."

Only Supervisors Kelly Burke and Sally Kurtz voted with me. My motion to make political parties pay for use of public facilities failed 3 yes, six no.

And Independent Scott York the chairman asked for free use of the room too. Here's a link to one newspaper story on the topic.
