2 Rock Throwers Caught

September 8, 2008

We are getting rain again tomorrow, Tuesday. When it rains, it pours. Green grass has returned to most of the places where there was just grey patches.

>>> TALL GRASS TONIGHT

Tonight at a public hearing there will be item 9 "Tall Grass Ordinance". The county has spent $9,000 on 20 homes. The beneift was that 200 homes (through the help of many volunteers and many owners) got their grass cut.

I estimate that this action did help prevent a further loss of value in our homes. I also state on the record that the public resolve to get this grass cut helped the public image of Sterling as a place where we will take a stand when it comes to keeping up the quality of life.

Tonight we find out if the board will make this vigilance and cooperation with our community is permanent. If you can, please tell the board what you think at [email protected]. Thank you.

>>>>BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTS

I have attended 3 Back to School nights in recent days, so thank you for saying "hi" if you saw me.

I will try to be at the Park View H.S. for a short time tonight. And Tuesday night, I will be at the Rolling Ridge Elementary School Back to School night. Thank you in advance for saying hello.

And fly the American flag to show respect for those serving and determination to end the threat against America.

God Bless you and all of us.

Snapshots of 9/11 New York Bear Witness. Some of the photos are stunning.

The linked site has a massive collection of World Trade Center photos, most of them taken by amateurs.
The site is set up for browsing. I looked at number 1484, a gripping photo that is not to be forgotten. Ever.
