>>> BIG CHRISTMAS PRESENT-- NEW INTERCHANGE
With the opening of the Sterling Blvd.-Rt. 28 interchange, three of the 5 dangerous intersections have been converted into safer and faster interchanges.
Soon there will be improvements to the remaining 2 "targeted" intersections costing about 2 million dollars.
Church Road and Rt.28. Route 606 and Rt. 28. Sterling Blvd. and Rt. 28. All three of these new interchanges make a big difference.
Soon we will have improvements at Sterling Blvd. and Rt. 7 and Potomac View Road and Rt. 7.
I want to thank the businesses, public safety officials and you and the many Sterling residents who have joined me and Route 28 officials at the many planning sessions we have held over the last several years. I also want to thank the many people who supported me in convincing VDOT to not allow long-advertised decisions (like Cedar Green) to change suddenly and shut down badly needed improvements.
There are forces at work to reverse our progress even now during the holiday. I will stick with celebrating Christmas and giving thanks to teamwork.

A Sterling American writes "A youth that occasionally attends our youth group has been missing since Sunday at 10:00 pm. Her name is Sarah Jane Willard, she often goes by "BB". She is 16 1/2, 4'11" and weighs about 120 lbs. If you have seen her or have any information about her disappearance, please contact the Loudoun County Sheriff's Department at (703) 777-1021. Please also pray for her safe return."
A notice has been posted on this missing person. This is a Purcellville teen that is thought to be in Ashburn with friends in Sterling also.
