Today's Hot Rumor

October 26, 1999
  1. Today's rumor is that there is a write in campaign against me. Ever since the primary there has been howls of pain coming from extreme leftists who want all conservatives to croak. One local resident even stated that anyone with a Delgaudio yard sign should not have the right to vote! Yes, there is a write in campaign against me. And there will be more details as I am able to confirm it.
  2. All the more reason now to honker down and volunteer for election day. Some of you have written already and I will pass your hours on to Bobby Baker, our Republican District Chairman (see below). Thank you for volunteering!
  3. Volunteer on Election Day?
In a meeting with all the Republican candidates on Monday night, I, along with Bobby promised we would do our best to staff all Sterling Precincts to hand out the Republican Sample Ballot.

The Republican Sample Ballot will make a big difference in all the races.

This election next Tuesday, Nov 2, 1999 is "open" 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. , and we have volunteers from 5 A.M. To 8 A.M., so you need to answer the question "can I volunteer for two hours between 8 am. and 7 p.m.?" I have devoted to working for all the candidates, that is the kind of person that I am. Your help is needed.

Sterling District has 3 polling places. Sully Elementary School, Rolling Ridge Elementary School and Park View High School. If you could volunteer two hours of your time on that day, please let me know as soon as possible by e-mail or phone call. My number is 421-4599, but I prefer you calling Bobby Baker at 437-5870)

Please put a Yard Sign on your Yard

In addition, if you would like a sign for your lawn, contact me or Tim Page, the Sterling GOP Operations Chairman. Tim's number is 444-5900.
