COMING AUG 29?

August 23, 2006

I have been calling you and others on the phone. Thank you for telling
me yes you are coming to the August 29 event. Thank you for the support
you have been expressing.

Response is encouraging and this event will be a success thanks to those
who have responded so far. We need to make this EVENT as big a success
as possible.

Already a miracle has occured.

There are liberals who have actually turned to prayer for the first time
in their lives. The liberals are praying for us to fail.

I have not heard from many of you. I have been trying to get in touch
with you. I have called morning, noon, and night to many people. Give
me a call or send me an email when you can. All I'm asking is one
night. Or one donation. Can I count on you to tell me if you can help
August 29? (my home phone is 703-421-4599)

Please send me an email or call me if you can. I know you get lots of
emails. And there are glitches every day.

Over the past 7 days, 67 people have responded. Thank you to all of you.
We need more.

This newsletter-- your voice-- has been in existence since 1999. "Dear
Sterling American" set the standard for internet reporting in Loudoun
county. Over 260 newsletters are posted. There were 300 editions since 1999.

LIBERALS want it silenced, along with your Sterling Supervisor. So
please tell me if you are coming August 29 at 7 p.m. at Glory Days Grill.

Over 30 people have responded but I need to hear from more of you. This
must be a success if I am to win re-election.

CAN YOU TELL ME YOU ARE COMING?

I am hosting a Republican Campaign Kickoff to raise money for my
re-election 7 p.m., Tuesday, August 29 at Glory Days Grill and need you
to tell me if you can make it and how many people and how much money can
you bring?

(quick Response) Hit reply and write me now:

I am coming with ( ) people and bringing $ ( ). Thank you.

>>> SULLY DOING PREPARATION WORK

This is light duty as the Sully PTO gets ready for the big build Oct. 16.

Join them this Saturday morning, August 26, from 8am-12pm, in front of
Sully for our continuing Breakfast With the Builders. They have several
people who are pre-building some components of Discovery Park. This
Saturday, they will probably be starting on some picnic tables and benches

Children (and adults!) will also have an opportunity to paint a tile
that will be installed in Discovery Park. Anyone is welcome to help.
Bring your power tools! Or just drop by and see what we are doing
(imagine me with a power tool!). Free food to anyone who drops by!

>>>United To Lay Off 504, Close Sterling Facility

On the same day United Airlines announced it would expand service from
Dulles Airport with 22 new flights, a corporate letter was sent to
Loudoun and state officials informing them the airline would close it
Sterling reservations facility and lay off the entire staff of 504 workers.

I predict they will all find jobs quickly. Loudoun has a very low
unemployment. I issued a statement saying that to Leesburg Today a while
ago, and Chairman York issued a similar statement today in response to
the United Airlines closing.

I said online 2 weeks ago that AOL employees will "bounce back"
