LCSO Seeks Public's Assistance to Help Locate Missing Sterling Teenager

Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance to help locate a Sterling, Va. teenager who was reported missing on June 14.

Katie Zamora-Hernandez, 13, did not return to her home on E. Charlotte Road after school and it is believed she left on her own accord. She was reportedly at a shopping center and an apartment complex in the Sterling and Dulles area late last week. She had previously been reported missing and was located at a home in the Sterling area on June 10.

Katie is described as a White female, 4'11" tall with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sleeveless V-neck dress, and was carrying a black and white backpack.

Anyone with any information regarding her possible whereabouts is asked to call Deputy R. Garis at 703-777-0475.

Fairfax County police are searching for a man an 11-year-old girl says inappropriately touched her in a Target store.

In a press release, Fairfax officials said an 11-year-old girl reported that a man touched her bottom as she was shopping with her father on June 18 around 5 p.m.

Officials say that surveillance video proves the girl's claims.

Police released a description; the molester was wearing a gray shirt and dark shorts. He may have left the store in a burgundy Ford Mustang.

McLean Police District - Help us locate and identify a suspect.

Police are investigating an incident that occurred at the Target store located at 2985 District Avenue in Fairfax, on Saturday, June 18 shortly after 5 p.m. An 11-year-old girl was in the store shopping with her father. As soon as they got home, the child told her father that a stranger had approached her in the store and touched her buttocks. The father called police immediately to report the incident. Target security video confirmed the little girl's story. The suspect appears to be a white male in his 20s. He was wearing a gray shirt and dark shorts at the time of the incident. The video shows the suspect leaving the Target parking lot in a burgundy Ford Mustang.

Virginia Target stores have had other run-ins with molesters. In one case last year, police arrested a man dressed as a woman in Virginia after police say he was caught peeping into restroom stalls three times in the past year.
