FINAL MEETING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Board of Supervisors held its last meeting this past Wednesday and adjourned for the year.
A "final supper" was held in a public meeting room for the outgoing supervisors and Chairman and
after an official swearing in ceremony attended by the spouses and family of four returning supervisors was held.

Joint Sobriety Checkpoint with Virginia State Police Tonight, Friday, December 18, 2015
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office will conduct a joint sobriety checkpoint with the Virginia State Police on Friday, December 18, 2015. The sobriety checkpoint will begin shortly after 10 p.m.
"In an effort to raise public awareness this holiday season, we are joining forces with the Virginia State Police to discourage impaired driving," said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman. "We are reminding motorists to make the smart choice, don't drink and drive."
Members of the Loudoun Sheriff's Office Auxiliary Unit and volunteers from the Loudoun Chapter of MADD will assist with the checkpoint.
