Friend of Sterling Sam Mall Service Saturday

Our Thoughts and Prayers are with the Family of Reverend Samuel P. Mall, a friend of Sterling who
frequently spent time here in Sterling helping a local charity that assisted those in need
around the world.

He passed away on Friday, May 22nd while on an Interfaith visit to Pakistan.

We thank Reverend Samuel P Mall, Ms. Rima Mall and family for their dedication and efforts. Reverend Samuel P. Mall was a Christian Pakistani leader, Executive Director of Reachout International, Director of the Muslim-Christian Federation Pakistan, and a Gandhi Global Family Award Recipient.

For many years, Mall met with poltical leaders in this country (see photo with me and Prince William County Chairman Corey Stewart above) and in other countries.

Eugene Delgaudio, Sterling Supervisor, said "Sam Mall frequently took on large tasks with a retail and genuinely humble attitude and consistently worked for a solution with whoever was open to progress in any fashion."

Just two weeks ago, my office of Supervisor recognized Mall with a letter saluting his award at an international event where he recieved a citation for his service.

The All Dulles Area Muslim Society also worked with Reverend Samuel P Mall on Interfaith Harmony, Religious Freedom, and Human Rights for Minorities in Pakistan and Around the World.

The Adams center said :

"Reverend Samuel P. Mall will truly be missed, but his good deeds will carry on and we will work to honor his legacy and memory with more Interfaith work for Religious Freedom around the world."
