Sterling Ford Giant Flag Is Virginia Landmark

The Koons Ford dealership located on Leesburg Pike between the new Coney Island Diner and the Clocktower shopping center on the one side and Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church on the other side flys the largest American Flag in the northern Virginia region. Several staff members are devoted to maintaining the flag and it flys with lights on day and night. Other landmarks are the Sterling Veterans Plaza, the frequent scout ceremonies for the Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts and the new Sterling Sheriff's Station.
