Sheriff Investigating Armed Robbery at High-Up Food Mart in Sterling

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported armed robbery at the High-Up Food Mart located in the 400 block of Enterprise Street in Sterling, VA.

The suspect, an unknown White or Hispanic male, entered the store shortly after 12:15PM November 7th and brandished a firearm and demanded cash. The suspect was described as being approximately 5'10" tall and was wearing all dark clothing, with a hoodie and a scarf to help conceal his face.

The clothing included a North Face jacket and he appears to be carrying a North Face backpack. Loudoun County Sheriff's Detectives released video of the suspect which can be viewed at http://www.sheriff.loudoun.gov/highup .

Anyone who was in this area at the time of the robbery, saw anything suspicious, and did not speak with law enforcement is asked to contact Detective S.
