Cuccinelli Concedes Governor's Race, E.W. Jackson Defeated, Mark Obenshain In Long Recount Process

Late last night, Ken Cuccinelli conceded the Governor's race to his opponent.

Ken said to his supporters:

"While I would have liked a different outcome, I cannot thank you enough for everything you and others like you did for our campaign. I am more thankful than you'll ever know for your time and effort!"

E.W. Jackson lost in his bid. Best wishes to the candidates and their families and staffs for working hard.

There is a recount going on in the Attorney General's Race and Mark Obenshain is looking for help with volunteers and funds to pay for the expensive recount process.

Tight Races All

All the Republican delegates from Sterling and Loudoun won re-election and a new conservative was elected David LaRock.

Jim LeMunyon, David Ramadan, Tom Rust, Tag Greason, Barbara Comstock, Bob Marshall and Randy Minchew were re-elected.
