If you need a job or have a neighbor who is looking, tell him Loudoun Workforce Resource Center will host a job fair on Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Rust Library, 380 Old Waterford Road, N.W. in Leesburg.

The job fair is open to the public and there is no cost to participate for either employers or job seekers. Job seekers are advised to come ready to meet with employers and should bring multiple copies of their resumes.

The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center has a long history of helping businesses identify well-qualified applicants and has assisted Sterling and its residents with giant job fairs for adults and teens for years (that rymes!).

Salamander Resort & Spa's Career Fair
Wednesday June 26

Salamander Resort & Spa, the much-anticipated luxury resort in the historic village of Middleburg, will hold its first Career Fair on Wednesday, June 26th.

Opening on August 29th, the resort will employ up to 200 full- and part-time associates. Individuals must apply online ahead of time by completing a job application, posting a resume, and applying for specific positions, which include spa therapists, cooks, front desk and restaurant managers, housekeepers, bellmen, and many more occupations. This can be done by visiting the Careers page on their website. (please disregard the June 20 deadline, you have until June 26!)



Pony and wagon rides for the young children and the very popular Reptiles Alive show. Thursday July 4th 10:30 a.m. to 3 Claude Moore Park. Use the Loudoun Park main entrance. $5 per person 5 years and up (that means unlimited children).

Parents Escape Night at Sterling Community Center
Friday June 21

(Ages 2 - 10) Head out for a night out while Sterling CC takes care of the children.
The Sterling gym will be converted to Moonbounce Paradise and there will be entertainment
for the children. Pizza and drinks. Children will be divided by age group. Call 703-430-9480.
