It was very productive and citizens were told the details of the construction that will begin
July 8. Citizens were promised that pedestrian cross walks will be worked on next in the
Route 7 area.

Thank you to the 1,000 that showed up for Mitt Romney and packed the entire area on Wednesday.

Claude Moore Park's Olde Time 4th of July Festival: Claude Moore Park will once again be hosting its annual Olde Time 4th of July Festival from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Admission is $5 per person, ages 4 and under are free. Musical entertainment for the festivities will be provided by the Greg Smallwood Band.

The Festival will be brimming with many activities, including: the Reptiles Alive! Show, pony rides, wagon rides, historic Lanesville House tours, Nature Center activities, children's crafts, and carnival games. Hot food, lemonade, and ice cream will all be available for purchase at the park.

Please enter Claude Moore Park at the Loudoun Park Lane entrance off of Cascades Parkway, and attendants will direct you to the parking lot.

Rally Against Government Waste Hampton Inn 10 a.m.

Sterling has hosted a dozen major celebrities in recent days. Now Americans for Prosperity President Tim Phillips is on a bus tour tomorrow with a rally in Sterling to condemn Government waste.
