Sterling Carjacking Last Night-- Being Investigated Now
Deputies Investigates Carjacking at Sterling Apartment Complex
(Sterling, Virginia) Loudoun County deputies are investigating a reported carjacking that occurred at a Sterling, Virginia apartment complex Wednesday night.
The victim, a 47-year-old man from Sterling was delivering a pizza around 10:15PM to an apartment in the 21840 block of Baldwin Square when he was assaulted and robbed of his keys and vehicle.
Baldwin Square is located in a high density townhouse area next to Bowl America near the intersectionof Woodson Drive and Dranesville Road at the Fairfax county border with Loudoun county.
The victim went to an apartment to deliver a pizza and was walking back to his car when he was approached by an unknown Black male who assaulted him with a blunt object. The suspect removed the victim's keys and took the victims car, a 1999 Blue Honda Civic four-door.
The suspect was described as being 5'5 -5'10 tall, in his late teens to early twenties, with a thin build. He was wearing a black baseball hat and a black jacket at the time of the robbery.
The victim received medical treatment at the scene.
