REMEMBER THE VETS!

May 28, 2005

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

On Monday, at 11 a.m. there will be a ceremony at the Sterling Veteran's
Memorial on the grounds of Sterling Middle School at the corner of
Sterling Boulevard and East Holly Avenue. The guest speaker this year is
Nick Compher, who recently completed one year of service in Iraq. Other
vets are expected to attend and it is a great time to say "thank you" to
all active duty and veterans as well. In the past there has been taps
and a 21 gun salute.

>>>>School Board Action On Banning "Gay" Recruitment

A school board legislative policy committee met this past week to
consider a policy that would ban "overt sexual references" in school
plays. This policy was explicitly counseled to be legal and proper for a
School board by the school attorney. Many of you wrote the school board
supporting a policy banning "overt sexual references".

Letters to the editor were published supporting it. Other letters from
libertine and liberal writers endorsed "freedom of expression" and
"creativity" to embrace and promote bizarre sexual practices.

>>>> SOME GOOD POLICIES IGNORED

Several policies banning "overt sexual references" were briefly
considered and then either ignored or dropped.

There were other weaker policies that were considered. And defeated.

The School board has reportedly re-affirmed a policy against "obscenity"
which is the least it can do.

I have requested records, tapes and will pass on what is the public
record next week.

There is no explaining the lack of serious action at this time. This is
not good news and you will be informed as soon as the written record
becomes available.

This is a continuing issue for Sterling residents and Loudoun citizens.

>>>>OKAY DELGAUDIO, WHAT IS FUELING THIS NOW, YOU MIGHT ASK.

Members of the local Loudoun Education Association work with the
Virginia Education Association. Members of this "teachers union" follow
its polices. And then surprise, surprise, some of these same "issues"
get forced down the throats of Sterling citizens, their children and all
of Loudoun.

This group can be facilitated by liberal Administrators and liberal
School Board members and is part of a larger agenda due to various
coalitions involving the "gay rights" lobbies working in concert with
the National Education Association.

In December, 2004, the Virginia Education Association (VEA), the
Virginia component of the National Education Association, had as one of
its ten legislative goals for 2005 the repeal of the Marriage
Affirmation Act (HB751). That law bans civil unions in Virginia and is
supported by The Family Foundation. Now, the VEA has gone even further
into the promotion of pro-homosexuality policies in our schools.

>>>NOT A SECRET-- SO WHY NOT PUBLISH THIS TOO?

The public endorsement of homosexuality continued recently when the VEA
presented one of its most prestigious awards to ROSMY (Richmond
Organization for Sexual Minority Youth).

According to the VEA website, ROSMY is a group that "provides support,
education and advocacy to young people between the ages of 14 and 20 who
identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered or
questioning."

The VEA, and its member chapter, the Loudoun Education Association, is
now exposed for what it accurately is - a condensed version of the
left-wing National Education Association. The VEA has moved outside of
the academic realm and is now working to redefine marriage for American
families. (credit for sources goes to Family Foundation).

>>> ADULTS PUSHING "FREE EXPRESSION" OR "SEX ACTS"?

It is not just a coincidence when Sterling, and Loudoun, is facing all
these issues and having to confront its own School Board members
constantly. The members of the school board can either stand up to the
leftist pro homosexual elements in the teachers union or just passively
allow pro homosexual recruitment, as ordered by the NEA, VEA and carried
out subserviently by the LEA in Loudoun.

>>> THE TOP ENEMY OF PORNOGRAPHY IN AMERICA
>>> MEESE PUT PORNOGRAPHERS IN JAIL AND OUT OF BUSINESS

Remember the good old days when pro pornography policies were condemned
and people who peddled corrupting photos or other materials were
prosecuted and driven from public with jail time?

The man who spearheaded that effort during President Ronald Reagan's
terms was former U.S. Attorney General Ed Meese who organized a
Commission to study and issue findings that still humble less informed
people about the porn industries' consuming and growing designs on
innocent Americans. Meese did many other things.

>>>> ANOTHER TOUGH PROSECUTOR BACKED BY DELGAUDIO

Along with me, AG Meese will headline an event in Support of Bob
McDonnellââ'¬â"¢s Race for Attorney General. I am looking forward to hearing
my old friend, The Honorable Ed Meese, Former Attorney General of the
United States, talk about our own "next" Virginia Attorney General Bob
Mc Donnell at The Home of David and Renee Pillor 43330 Butterfield Court
Ashburn, VA 20147 this Wednesday, June 1st At 6:30 p.m. For
more information or to RSVP, please call Natalie Stern at 703-748-1113.

I am sure "Mainstream Loudoun" will be picketing Meese as he is a big
enemy of pornography , right up there with Delegate Dick Black!

>>>>>Loudoun County to Sell Surplus Vehicles at Auction June 11

Pickup trucks, police cars and passengers vans are among the surplus
vehicles that Loudoun County will sell at auction on Saturday, June 11,
2005, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Loudoun County Motor Pool, 42000
Loudoun Center Place in Leesburg.

There are about 40 cars and everyone of them have been Loudoun-bound for
at least 100,000 miles, up to 130,000 miles. If you go, let me know how
you are treated.

>>>>>REMEMBER OUR VETERANS.

America has troops all over the world today. Iraq and Afghanistan are
just two locations.

Here is a memory about the Vietnam war from Former Secretary of the Navy
James Webb was awarded the Navy Cross, Silver Star, and Bronze Star
medals for heroism as a Marine in Vietnam.

THE GROUND WAR IN VIETNAM FOR A MARINE:

We moved through the boiling heat with 60 pounds of weapons and gear,
causing a typical Marine to drop 20 percent of his body weight while in the
bush. When we stopped we dug chest deep fighting holes and slit trenches
for toilets. We slept on the ground under makeshift poncho hootches, and
when it rained we usually took our hootches down because wet ponchos shined
under illumination flares, making great targets. Sleep itself was fitful,
never more than an hour or two at a stretch for months at a time as we
mixed daytime patrolling with night-time ambushes, listening posts, foxhole
duty, and radio watches. Ringworm, hookworm, malaria, and dysentery were
common, as was trench foot when the monsoons came. Respite was rotating
back to the mud-filled regimental combat base at An Hoa for four or five
days, where rocket and mortar attacks were frequent and our troops manned
defensive bunkers at night.

>>>VA STATE SENATOR KEN CUCCINELLI (VA-37) ENDORSES OPRISON

Chris Oprison received the endorsement of Republican State
Senator Ken Cuccinelli, a leader among Virginia conservatives.
Senator Cuccinelli had this to say about our Chris Oprison:

"I am so confident in the caliber of Chris and his campaign and am
certain that he will serve his district well as Delegate. In this
race, I am proud to back the conservative - Chris Oprison."

>>>> CHRIS CRADDOCK CAMPAIGN IN THE NEWS

Chris Craddock, candidate for Delegate in South Riding and Western
Fairfax is checking in.

Michael Graham is on the air publicly denouncing Gary Reese and
promoting the Craddock campaign! Check out his blog at

The Centreview newspaper published Craddock's letter about Fairfax
Countyââ'¬â"¢s horrendous new FLE pamphlets. Although the pamphlets passed,
the battle is far from over. You can read the letter

>>>Conservative Victory PAC Endorses Michael Golden

This group of influential conservative leaders in Virginia, led by
former Republican state senate candidate Bob FitzSimmonds, recently
endorsed the Michael Golden campaign for Delegate. CVPAC has provided a
broad range of support to our campaign team, and Mr. Golden is thankful
for their public endorsement. CVPAC joins the Virginia Conservative
Action PAC, the Virginia Club for Growth PAC, and Supervisor Eugene
Delgaudio in endorsing Golden who is running in the Springfield area for
an open seat.

>>>> STEVE CHAPMAN GET'S BIG PRO-LIFE LIFT

I have endorsed Steve Chapman for Delegate in Prince William. I was the
only elected official to support Prince William freshman Jeff Frederick
in his upset defeat of Jay Rollison, an incumbant and nasty liberal
bully who pushed tax increases day and night.
Now, maybe Chapman, another young conservative turk can team up with
delegate Frederick.

Last week, Nellie Gray, pro-life leader and activist working against
abortion since 1973ââ'¬â"¢s Roe v Wade, endorsed Steve Chapman.

In recent debates in Manassas, Steve Chapman easily won. Steve
articulated his anti-tax message, 100% support for life, and 5-point
Transportation Plan. Parrish meanwhile defended his $1.6 billion tax
increase bill, gas tax increase proposals, and anti-life votes. The
liberal POST says "both" did bad. DON'T BELIEVE THE POST!

>>> TOLL TRAFFIC DROPS SLIGHTLY THANKS TO YOU.

Our boycott of the Dulles toll road is working! Toll revenue was down
6% in ONE day., and on a Monday, when traffic is lighter. Lets keep the
pressure on. Avoid the toll road. Don't pay for Metro to Wiehle. It
wont help your commute or other trips.
