Wolf At Loudoun Crime Commission

The late LCC founder Mike Spak left us all suddenly, but the LCC continues in his honor and to fight crime.

Congressman Frank Wolf will address the Loudoun Crime Commission on Friday, May 14th at the Belmont Country Club at 12:00 to 2:00 PM (networking at noon, lunch at 12:30). 15 dollars for non-members.

Sheriff's Deputy Recognized for Third Straight Time for Efforts in Combating Impaired Driving

Sheriff's Deputy Jason Totaro was recognized May 7, 2010 for his efforts in combating impaired driving at the 19th Annual Excellence in Community Service and Public Safety Ceremony. This is the third straight award for Totaro in this effort.

BIG BANDS AT PARK VIEW HIGH SCHOOL SATURDAY MAY 15

Last year they sponsored a mothers day concert. This year there is special big band night at Park View HS. The PVHS Jazz Ensemble will open for Swing Shift, a professional big band. It is May 15th the cost is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for students, and $3.00 for seniors. It is in the PVHS cafeteria. There will be dancing, deserts, and great jazz music!

American Legion Post 150's 34th annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

Ann Kuo, Commander of American Legion Post 150 in Sterling, announced that Sterling's 34th annual Veteran's Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 31st 2009, at 11:00 am at the Sterling Veteran's Memorial located on the North East corner of Sterling Middle School grounds at the intersection of Sterling Boulevard and East Holly Avenue.

Grand Opening Sheriff Substation June 9

The sheriff's substation is now operational but not open to the public. The official opening ceremony is Wednesday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. All the county supervisors, delegates, senators and law enforcement from every level will be there.
