Final Results are in with the meals tax beat 70 per cent no and 30 per cent yes. Congratulations to you and to your neighbors and friends.
Frank Wolf was overwhelmingly re-elected also. As far as Jim Gilmore and John McCain results, Loudoun went in another direction this time but there is always next year in Virginia.
Today, Thursday November 6, there is a groundbreaking for the new Sheriff's substation at 1 p.m. I know most of you are at work but the sun will come out at noon and there will be a good turnout from those of you who have off today. I look foreward to those of you who can make it.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be 1 p.m. today on an open field between Rolling Ridge Elementary School and Briar Patch Park on Frederick Drive right off Sterling Blvd.
Don't forget about the Scouts pick up of food on Saturday (at your house!) and the pick up on Trash at 9 a.m. along Sterling Blvd. (meet at Park View HS by the recycle bins).
