FBI ARRIVES, SARAH PALIN COMING

October 23, 2008

60 Sterling citizens attended a briefing on gangs last night, Wednesday night, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Sterling Community Center. Thank you for making this event a success. Every time we have an event, STERLING TURNS OUT.

STATEMENT FROM SUPERVISOR EUGENE DELGAUDIO

(QUOTE) Thank you to the citizens of Sterling and members of the local news media who once again promoted and stood for making progress against the decline of the quality of life. Sterling is coming together again and again and welcomes the nation's—the world's -- premier law enforcement agency in this fight, the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

And members of the Loudoun County Gang Unit and its GRIT team stood shoulder to shoulder with the FBI in reporting on their methods and how to work with them. Special Thanks to Congressman Frank Wolf for funding the Gang Task Force which keeps this operation going and now with last night's announcement that the Gang Task Force is moving completely into the FBI offices, we can expect big news in the future. >>>> 100,000 EXPECTED IN LEESBURG TO SEE SARAH PALIN

The Palin vice-presidential campaign announced that Governor Sarah Palin will campaign in Virginia on Monday, October 27th, holding rallies in Leesburg.

I recommend comfortable but warm clothing and walking shoes. Be prepared to walk a long distance due to closed roads. Print out a map and be prepared to walk a mile to the site due to parking problems. For security and other reasons, both presidential campaigns are picking well known locations in Leesburg with very little parking on site.

Frankly there is no venue in Loudoun County with 30,000 parking spaces. So again, park as near as you can get and be prepared to walk a distance. Arrive on the site by 7 am. with an goal of reaching the park by 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Voters can obtain tickets to each rally by accessing the McCain Virginia website at Virginia.JohnMcCain.com or by visiting one of the Virginia Victory offices listed below starting Thursday, October 23rd from 9:00 a.m. EDT to 9:00 p.m. EDT. Tickets will be available through Monday, October 27th.
