Missing Lady Safe and Sound

A Sterling woman who was reported missing last week returned home safe and sound this weekend. Farah Malik, 22, returned home on Saturday and the investigation revealed she left on her own accord and was with friends.

Farah was reported missing on July 9th after she left her residence on Rock Hill Road to go to work. The family became concerned after she never showed up to her place of employment in Herndon, VA. Farah typically rode her bicycle on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail to travel to work.

Members of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, the Herndon Police Department and the Fairfax Police Department searched the W & OD trail for several hours on the day of her reported disappearance.
