TREES BEING PLANTED

The TREES LOOK WONDERFUL. The trees are being planted. Drivers are cheering and beeping the workers in recent days. Families are walking the Boulevard. Most people are just slowing down to take a look.

Sterling Boulevard will now have trees.

>>> LATE LAST NIGHT AT DISCOVERY PARK

Friday evening at 10:53 p.m., units from the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company, Fairfax County Fire / Rescue, and Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to a reported structure fire at Sully Elementary, 300 Circle Drive in the Sterling Park subdivision. Units arrived on the scene to find an approximate 20' x 20' area of the Discovery playground in the rear of the structure involved with fire. Crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control and keeping it from spreading to any other nearby portions.
 
No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $10,000.
 
The fire is being investigated by the Loudoun County Fire Marshal's Office. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
