>>>> BOARD STILL CONSIDERING MANDATORY HELMET LAW

The board of supervisors voted to send the proposed ordinance for mandatory helmets for children under 14 years of age to a committee for the purpose of getting answers from questions posed by Supervisors. One of the questions I asked was "what is the procedure for deputies to approach children?" One young 10 year old boy spoke against the proposed law. Several medical professionals from area hospitals spoke in favor of the law.

>>>> PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY MOVES ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

The Prince William County board of Supervisors passed a resolution condemning illegal immigration yesterday. Language requiring county officials to challenge federal laws was reportedly stricken. Here is a link to the original resolution which was amended.

When I get a copy of the amended resolution I will provide that link.

Now that the Prince William County Board of Supervisors voted 9 to 0, please encourage the Loudoun board to consider a similar resolution condemning illegal immigration and that violators of the laws of our country are not welcome in Loudoun County. We will meet next Tuesday, July 17 for a full day of regular business.

>>> YOU ARE INVITED Friday July 13
>>> THIS FRIDAY NIGHT 6 TO 8 P.M.

My liberal Democratic Opponent raised $10,000 to my $7,000 in the last 30 days. This is very bad news. If you and I do not reverse this terrible situation, my opponent could continue to outraise our campaign.

We must work harder and that means more donations must be collected Friday. I am on track to do better this Friday but I need your help to make sure that happens.

The next Delgaudio party will be held Friday July 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. and along with pizza, salad and soda there will be a ton of ice cream.

It will be at Santini's New York Style Restaurant under the Clock Tower opposite Chick Fila on Route 7 in Sterling. YOU ARE INVITED. If you gave me money previously, please come and give me money for my re-election again. Thank you.
