STERLING IN SHOCK OVER CLOSING

November 17, 2006

I know how email can be. I wrote you by email due to the fact that there was a surprise attack launched on Sterling by people intent on hiding their actions.

I discovered it and I am in shock even though I learned only a few days ago and started working on re-opening the CLOSED Sterling Boulevard intersection for several days now.

I talked to several Supervisors and dozens of county, state and even national leaders. THEY ARE IN SHOCK. The Board will take up the topic at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, after public comment by citizens at 9:30 a.m.

This is a complete new 25 miillion dollar fully functional intersection which has taken 18 months to engineer and build.

It has been "delayed from opening" or closed (my words) for several weeks and I just found out and quickly informed the board of supervisors.

Some of you are writing me and asking what can be done.

Please consider writing the Board of Supervisors and asking the board of supervisors to demand the quick opening of the Sterling Blvd. and Route 28 intersection.

The address for the Board is [email protected]

Thank you very much for understanding the level of urgency involved in this stunt by the Governor and other officials who are either being mislead or are just plain wrong.

Ask for an end to delays. There has already been 2 weeks of delay before I found out this betrayal of my and your trust.
