Happy Independence Day

Last night's public hearing lasted until 10:30 p.m. A lot of road projects were voted on by the board to be sent to the Transportation Committee which I serve on. The Transportation committee meets July 11 and will be full. One project is to build $8.4 million worth of road on Loudoun Parkway with private funds. That's a winner.

The Board tabled the proposed Anti-Christmas Lights Ordinances until Monday, July 15, our next Business meeting. I checked the county website and they have not posted them as of yet. WHERE IS EUGENE DELGAUDIO?

Tomorrow, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon I will be Claude Moore Park handing out red white and blue hats for the children and watching the pony rides. I will help kick off the day at the opening ceremonies.

I will be visting Sterling District parties all day and then being introdu ced at the Herndon High School fireworks where many Sterling residents also go to see the nearby fireworks. I will be at Herndon HS from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. July 4.
