Happy Independence Day

July 3, 2002

Last night's public hearing lasted until 10:30 p.m. A lot of road projects were voted on by the board to be sent to the Transportation Committee which I serve on. The Transportation committee meets July 11 and will be full. One project is to build $8.4 million worth of road on Loudoun Parkway with private funds. That's a winner.

The Board tabled the proposed Anti-Christmas Lights Ordinances until Monday, July 15, our next Business meeting. I checked the county website and they have not posted them as of yet. This is the url for documents from the business meetings to see the proposed lighting ordinances when they are posted http://www.loudoun.gov/bos/docs/businessmeeting_/2002_/index.htm
