Today, Supervisor Eugene Delgaudio announced that 1,438 private
residences in his Sterling district that have Christmas decorations are
getting a special Thank You Letter of Commendation delivered to their
home. Delgaudio will go out and thank the (missed) houses adding
decorations this week again this week.

Delgaudio said "Christmas has come to Sterling and each of these
wonderful families has made it happen with their wonderful outpouring of
decorations and celebration. The nativity scenes, the lights and of
course all the Christmas trees make it a fantastic time for everybody.
And thank you to all who celebrate Christmas privately as well. Merry
Christmas and happy holidays to all, no matter what their faith. Those
who celebrate in such a public manner are to be commended by all of us."

Delgaudio also said, "Taking the time to decorate your home for the
season not only makes Sterling more festive and attractive, but inspires
all of us to be even more giving and generous this holiday season. Thank
you to all Sterling residents who worked so hard to make this a special
Christmas season for the entire community."

Dear (NAME OF NEIGHBOR)

Merry Christmas and thank you for your thoughtfulness!

I was going through the neighborhood this weekend, and noticed how
beautifully you decorated your home for the Christmas season. I hope
you don't mind, but I just want to take the time to thank you.

It is a joy for me and my children, and indeed all of Sterling, to
drive through our community and see our neighbors celebrating this
blessed season like you have done.

Thank you again for making Sterling such a wonderful place for us
all to live. Together with your neighbors, Christmas has once again
come to Sterling.

.......I am always open and available for you. May God bless you
and yours.
Merry Christmas.
