Republican Party Chairman Threatened with arrest for defending voter rights

November 3, 2020

Statement of Eugene Delgaudio Regarding Rolling Ridge ES Polling Place Incident

I know the Republican Party Chairman of Sterling to be a war veteran and patriot who understands Constitutional and voting rights and election day procedures from years of volunteer service as Sterling Distict Chairman.

I have been informed deputies were called and lies about him have been reported to the Loudoun County Sheriffs office. The investigation or complaint revolves around the chairman standing for voting rights of voters who refuse to wear a mask be given the approved options of voting at the curb or provided a table to place their ballot with the proper social distance.

This is approved by the Loudoun and Virginia board of elections. Elections officials at the Rolling Ridge ES polling location refused to call their supervisors or Leesburg election officials.

This incident of calling deputies to prevent people from voting is voter supression. To lie about the civic participation of a combat war veteran is a crime of disgusting proportions as well.
