Do Loudoun Leftists Koran Saines & Phyllis Randall and Lawless Attorney Mark Herring Support Violent, Vile Rhetoric at Women's March on Washington?

January 22, 2017

Following Loudoun County Board Chair Phyllis Randall's participation in the so-called "Women's March on Washington," where celebrity guest Madonna stated in a profanity-laced tirade that she had "thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House," and Hollywood actress Ashley Judd referred to the incoming Cabinet of President Trump as "Nazis," the Loudoun County Republican Committee is calling on Chair Randall to unequivocally denounce the violent, vile rhetoric on display at the March.

Virginia Democrat politicians Ralph Northam, Mark Herring, Sterling District Supervisor Koran Saines, and others also attended the March.

"Rhetoric like this has absolutely no place in American politics, and should especially not be tolerated by Loudoun residents and elected officials," said Will Estrada, Chairman of the Loudoun County Republican Committee. "Phyllis Randall's decision to lend her reputation to an event that promotes violent political statements such as this represents an unacceptable lapse in judgement."

"It is no surprise that partisan Democrat politicians like Ralph Northam and Mark Herring would attend this March, and stand in solidarity with left-wing agitators such as Madonna and Ashley Judd," Will Estrada continued. "But Phyllis Randall campaigned for Chair of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors as a moderate who wanted to strengthen our community here in Loudoun County. Perhaps Chair Randall was as shocked as Loudoun families were about the violent rhetoric of the March. If so, we call on her to denounce this type of rhetoric that has no place in American politics, let alone in our Loudoun community. But if Chair Randall refuses to denounce Madonna and Judd's incendiary statements, then she has revealed to Loudoun residents her true colors: a partisan, liberal Democrat politician who puts national Democrat talking points above the residents of Loudoun County, and the Board of Supervisors' true work to fund our roads, schools, and law enforcement, keep taxes low, and promote Loudoun's businesses and economy."

"Chair Randall's association with the March alongside liberal Virginia Democrats indicates a disappointing willingness to engage in cheap partisan maneuvering, instead of prioritizing the needs of families here in Loudoun." said Nicole Tardif, Communications Chair for the Loudoun County Republican Committee.

The Women's March on Washington also excluded pro-life feminist groups from sponsorship of the March, making clear that this was not a march for all women, but was rather a march for radical leftists and those who support abortion on demand. This is especially tragic considering that liberal Democrat politicians helped to defeat the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act in Congress last year, which was an attempt to end the practice of sex-selective abortions here in the United States. Today in 2017, the United States is still one of the nations in the world that allows unborn female babies to be aborted simply because of their gender.
